Nick was transferred this past week.  He is now an Office Elder.  He lives in Subic next to the Mission Home.  He is in charge of supplies and apartments.  His new companion is Elder Wecker from Hawaii.  Elder Wecker was in the batch 6 weeks behind Nick in the MTC, so they met in the MTC and were friends.  Nick will drive a car....YIKES!!  Not sure how I feel about that!!  He also lives with the AP's and one of the AP's is his trainer Elder Hunter.  Yep, Nick is one happy missionary.  He is extremely excited about this transfers and looks forward to this new adventure.
New pictures from Nathan.  He is still in San Juan and he is still training Elder Abad.  Transfers were this past week and he is staying in San Juan.  He was very happy about that!

Nate got a new companion a couple of weeks ago.  His name is Elder Abad from Davao, Philippines.  He is 20, so older than Nate, but is a great missionary.  Nate is his trainer and says Elder Abad helps him a lot with his Tagalog.  Here are a few pictures of recent baptisms. Notice Nate's shoes.  It looks like he does a lot of walking!!

Germa Ramos and Alexander Mulawin.  Germa is the girl and she is 19 and Alexander is the boy and he is 17
Baptism is Billzent and Billjester.  Both boys ages 9 and 10.

Nick got a new companion last week, Elder Hewett from Cedar Hill, Utah.  Nick is a trainer now,  pretty remarkable for only being in the Philippines for 4 months.  We got a nice email from his Mission President saying what a great trainer he will be.  We are proud of Nick!

Clarifications:  Nate and Nick are both in San Juan...but different San Juans.  It does sound like they are in the same city, but they are not.  Only wishful thinking!!
Nick got a new companion, Elder Cagayanan.  He was sad to lose his trainer, Elder Hunter.  He was such a great trainer for Nick.  He is still living in Botolan, but works in Taugtog (Camara) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and San Juan on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  They alternate where they go to church.

Nathan has been transferred from San Jose to San Juan. (You can still send letters to the Mission Home, that is the best place to send them)  He is in a tri-some (as he calls it)  He is with Elder Silvoza and his new companion Elder Alinsoot His is the tallest of the 3!!  Yeah for Nate!
